Saka is released in behind the Forest defence. The goalkeeper is in no man's land but Saka doesn't take on the lob on his unfavoured right foot.

74' Spence races forward and looks to advance towards Arsenal's box as he glides through challenges, but he's scythed down from behind by Martinelli, who is rightfully booked.
73' Zinckernagel brings down Odegaard 30 yards from his own goal, and Arsenal have a free-kick in a dangerous position.
70' Another opportunity goes begging for Nketiah as he fires over from close range.
69' Alexandre Lacazette replaces young Charlie Patino.

62' Garner hits a wonderful free-kick from distance that brings another good save out of Leno.
57' Forest wins back to back corners, the second of which prompts half-hearted appeals for a penalty but nothing given.

Arsenal down the other end win a corner of their own to the near post but Davis powerfully heads away the danger.

Saka finds space to cross and plants the ball right on the head of Nketiah, but his attempted header back across goal is awful and dribbles behind for a goal kick!
56' Colback finds Davis in the middle, who again is crowded out in the box. He plays it forward for Colback to latch onto, but it's just a fraction ahead of his left-wing-back and the ball goes out of play.
51' Martinelli strides towards the box and looks to find Odegaard on the edge of the area, but his pass is cut out by Spence, who clears his lines.

Nketiah streaks away down the left flank on the counter. He has options inside but goes alone, drives a shot towards goal and sees his effort brilliantly blocked by the covering McKenna.
48' Much more like it from Forest, who put Arsenal under the cosh with a string of driving runs into the area.

But the Gunners striker avoids a booking having slipped which caused him to unintentionally take out Forest's No1.

Martinelli is put into acres of space on the left, and finds Tierney on his inside. He lays off Holding, but it's a poor shot from the Gunners defender that is easily blocked and cleared by the home side!
37' Tierney crosses right into the box, bypassing a sea of red shirts, but Nketiah can't control the high ball properly and Forest clear.

Nketiah steps around the edge of the box, and fires a left-footed shot into the side netting! A deflection off Cook helped it on its way behind, and so the Gunners will have a corner!
27' Brilliant from Worrall to win Forest possession before the dangerous Johnson gets down the right wing, with a cross cut out by the first defender.
25' A low pass from Odegaard for Nketiah is cut out as Arsenal look for a way through on the edge of the Forest box.
22' Arsenal have won five of their last six meetings with Forest in all competitions, though the exception was that 4-2 loss at the City Ground in the third round in 2017-18.
17' Martinelli is put into space in the box and puts in a hanging cross from the byline. It takes a deflection on its way behind, and so the Gunners have a corner.

13' Patino takes on Spence down the left and looks to have won a corner, but the referee correctly judges that the last touch came off the Arsenal youngster, and so a goal-kick is given.

7' Yates and Tavares tussle for the ball, but the Forest midfielder catches the Arsenal man with a stray elbow and concedes the free-kick.
5' Arsenal have been eliminated at the third round stage of the FA Cup just once in the last 25 seasons, though that one defeat did come at Forest in 2017-18.
